Annette Chabani
I have worked in many child care centres across the Northern and Western suburbs doing relief work for an agency. My passion for working with children began with my own children who are now adults, Emily is 24 years and James is 21 years. Prior to having a family I worked in Administration for the Victorian government. I have also worked in my families Retail business in the Melbourne. I believe that providing a nuturing environment is vital to children’s learning. Best quality care that values how unique each child is and supports their individual needs. This is why I decided to work in Early Childhood Education. For the past 18 months I have been providing child care for Annette and Bob’s three children. As Yarn Strong Sista has grown, I have taken on the role as the Administration Manager. I manage the booking for storytelling and co ordinate the ordering of stock and the distribution to customers. I am also a Sales Consultant and visit early childhood services, so they can view our beautiful range of Indigenous resources.
