Handmade Cotton Doll with Aboriginal Dress

These hand-made dolls are designed by Kiella, who is a young Indigenous girl. Kiella drew pictures of herself, which have been transformed into these beautiful cotton dolls that reflect the diversity of our community.

The colours used for the clothes represent Kiella’s Torres Strait Islander and Aboriginal identity.

Each doll comes with a story card explaining the name of the individual doll, where they come from and their hobbies.

Doll measures approximately 40cm.

Doll and clothes are made of cotton, hair is made of wool and faces are hand-painted.
